Why the money sits there
It isn't that the appeals are hard. It's that they don't pay for themselves.
Appealing a denied psychotherapy claim properly takes real work: reading the remittance, finding the payer's actual appeal channel, pulling the right documentation, writing the letter, and tracking a deadline that doesn't move. Done by hand, on a claim worth a couple hundred dollars, that work costs more than the claim.
So the claim gets written off. Across behavioral health, most denied claims are never resubmitted at all. Payers are aware of this.

What this actually costs you in time
The work is ours. Almost all of it.

What we do
- Read every denial and sort it by what it actually needs
- Identify the claims that were denied for correctable billing reasons and fix them
- Route each appeal through the correct channel for that payer
- Draft the appeal and the supporting argument
- Track every appeal deadline to the day
- Follow up until the payer decides
What we need from you
- One denial export to start, and access set up once at onboarding
- For medical‑necessity denials only: the treatment documentation already in your chart
- A clinician's sign‑off on the clinical statements in those appeals, because that judgment is yours and not ours
- Nothing else. We ask for documentation in one batch, ranked by what it's worth going after
A large share of denied claims — duplicates, coding and modifier mismatches, claims sent to the wrong behavioral‑health administrator — need no input from you at all. Those are usually the fastest dollars, so we start there.
